SURVIVAL GUIDE FOR QUEER BLACK YOUTH is a chapbook of poetry with survival tips, tokens of advice, stories from the author's life, interspersed with mythic tales from their non-binary journey to self-love. Originally released in 2017 with the intent to help those still living in survival mode, this book became a much-needed road map to support those not just healing the generational trauma and cultural warfare that deemed Black, brown, and queer bodies as unwanted and unworthy, but a generation of people from all backgrounds, sexualities and races who were feeling lost. The 2025 reissue includes a preface, new poem, and survival tip.
